From Paulina:

My goal is to create ecological art that cultivates a deep sense of collective connection and mindful reflection, inviting participants to immerse themselves in a creative process that bridges art, nature, and tradition. I envision an earthen sculpture that not only embodies organic beauty but also encourages hands-on interaction with natural elements, offering a space for tactile and imaginative exploration. By reviving ancestral building and artistic techniques, I transform materials like clay, sand, straw, and pigments into meaningful forms that reflect our interconnectedness with the earth. I invite participants to approach the process with an open mind, ready to fully engage—whether that means getting their hands muddy, sharing laughter, or simply enjoying the moment. Through this immersive experience, I hope they not only gain a new appreciation for working with natural materials but also leave with a powerful skill that has the potential to inspire and transform communities, fostering a ripple effect of creativity and ecological consciousness in the world.

Paulina is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans earthen art, building, plastering, and sculpture, with roots in ceramics, collage, dance, film photography, mixed-media, and more. Over the past five years, she has pursued self-directed learning, gaining insights from skilled practitioners worldwide. Engaging with the earth provides Paulina with a therapeutic experience, and her use of reclaimed materials reflects her commitment to ecological sustainability and mindful consumption. Her artistic inspiration is drawn from nature, sacred geometry, organic architecture, celestial themes, ethnic art forms, folklore, and ancestral craftsmanship, all of which are influenced by her global travels and exploration of unconventional ideas.
