Join Marianna in this fun practice of herbalism and stewardship. Learn about the local plants growing around us. Learn the medicinal values, tending the landscape, growing, and harvesting techniques and etiquette and of course land care, creating abundance and keeping them thriving!
Xicanx herbalist, Marianna Segura (she/they), has been learning from plants her whole life. Native land stewardship and conservation is integral to reclaiming their indigenous roots. They were born and raised in so-called Austin, Tx, and have spent recent years building intentional relationships with plant kin and people alike. This path has landed them at Earth Commons Apothecary, where they practice pairing people with their strongest plant allies through herbal formulations. Decolonial care practices are central in her work and medicine making.
